Always great fish and chips here. Worth the extra trip as there is a few nearer. Sometimes it's quite await, but worth it. Next great chip shop is properly 18 miles away.

This is probably one of the worst fish and chips I have eaten. The haddock was over cooked/ dry and the fish was not fresh, with a queue of people outside the door we really expected better. My 11 year old son left half of it, he usually clears his plate. Is this leftover from lunchtime? I will not be recommending this takeaway to friends and family.

Worst fish and chip i have ever had. The owner owns the only twofish and chip shops in the town but decides to only open one on some days. It was due to close at 8pm and we turned up at 7.15 to a huge queue . We finally got served at 8pm just as they closed the door . Chips were almost most raw (hard ) and both portions of cod was20% cod 80% batter and over cooked. Clearly they could not cope withdemandso settledto sell chip before they had finished cooking and usetiny cuts of cod to cook quicker. Well done for them they gotto queue down to nothing by closing time. I'll never be back. Be warned dispute all the good reviews, avoid if sue is too big or it near closing time. Our dinner went in the bin it was so bad
