Great independent café in central Aldeburgh. Lovely staff, varied menu all freshly prepared. Coffee can be hit and miss unfortunately but otherwise best in area.

My wife and I love it here. We have been coming to Aldeburgh for 6 years and ALWAYS have a Munchies breakfast! Great fresh produce, cooked to order. The staff are always lovely and attentive. We love it.

We stopped here for lunch with our three three years olds and a baby. We were found a seat quickly and had to ask for a highchair. The children's menu was very limited only offering white sandwiches. Our children were well enough behaved with a couple of loud occasions, normal for their age. As I went up to pay with the children, the member of staff raised her voice at our children and told them to behave and that she had had enough if their noise. I responded and said that they were only children, she responded rudely that their behaviour was unacceptable. My friend followed after not hearing the conversation and while paying said hope they weren't too noisy, and the member of staff replied aggressively and said maybe I should have apologized to all the customers. If it was a high class restaurant I would have understood, but it is only a sandwich cafe! Never going again.
