"East Manchester Leisure Centre is a state-of-the-art facility with a superb gym, fitness class studio and two swimming pools. Located in Beswick, close to the Etihad football stadium, we have a range of affordable memberships available for everyone. This place has so much potential to be a great leisure centre, but it's let down by the cleanliness, it stinks of mould and the changing rooms and bathrooms are disgusting. Most of the staff are very friendly, except one short lady in her late 40s early 50s that wears a dark blue t-shirt her people skills need a substantial amount of work
The leisure centre went completely down hill. The swimming pool is so overcrowded, I’m paying membership every month just to stand in a pool and cannot move anywhere, there should be some kind of limit especially during summer holidays where parents come with their kids. The health and safety are not considered either, really angry and disappointed, I’ll be looking to go somewhere else!

Great clean bright pool, 8 lanes all deep pool with small shallow pool for kids and fun. Open early morning and a swim is available most of the day unlike most pools. Use the Better app to check times. Car park is only accessed from Alan Turing Way onto Grey Mare Lane. Unfortunately no access from Ashton New road. Well managed friendly staff.

There are not enough machines in the gym. The gym and locker rooms aren’t cleaned adequately or frequently enough. Shutting at 5pm on a Saturday and Sunday is not good enough. It should be open till 10pm on weekends.
Great pool for any age. Good changing rooms, clean showers. The gym is small, unfortunately, the choice of machines leaves much to be desired, but basic training with free weights you can still do it here. Every weekend I see children's birthday parties here with inflatable obstacle courses.
I go swimming here 5 days a week staff are super friendly and very helpful
Absolutely nice place to exercise or enjoy swimming. The facility is new and very clear. Only thing is they don't have swimsuit dryer.
it's a modern facilities everything you need to work out on a great size pool.
