We stayed at the Gloucester house about three weeks ago. Geoff and Christine were great hosts, the breakfast was fantastic, the location was great and the rooms were very comfortable. Our 14 year old daughter mentioned she felt like she was home staying at the Gloucester House. We hope to be back soon.

Having stayed at this hotel on a previous visit in 2015. I booked to stay at this hotel with my family for the weymouth festival with high expectations. Sadly unlike 2015 I was rather dissapointed this time. I booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 children and was promised a sea view but had no seaview or balcony. The other room I booked was for a double room with a cot as we have a newborn baby. I explained that when I booked and was promised a cot but on arrival I was told that they dont provide cots or bedding for babies which makes life rather difficult with a 7 week baby it looked like the had allocated us a front room with a bed in the middle with a built in bathroom. Also considering what we paid I was dissapointed with the breakfast on order as I feel that children are entitled to a breakfast as well and was astonished to be charged an additional £5 for an upgrade. The location of the hotel is fine and right on the seafront and near the town centre. As for the holiday its self we had a great time. Just a quick update on this thank you very much to Chris and Geoff for taking the time to email me with a explanation. I appreciate the fact that you found the time to contact me. Despite the circumstances Chris and Geoff are great hosts.

Just come back from this wonderful place! The owners and staff are amazing so welcoming and the breakfast is fab! Will defo be back there soon..thank you so much guys
