Wonderful doctors at the practice, almost always run to time but the new appointment system is a nightmare. If you can’t get an appointment on a Monday until Wednesday and phone at 9 am, how can it be that all of Wednesdays appointments have all ready gone? Awful system!

The care given by the doctors in this practice is outstanding. If you telephone to say that you are unwell you will always be offered an appointment that day and doctors will always telephone you if you just need advice over the phone. If you have an appointment at the surgery you might have to wait a while as the doctors give a lot of attention to their patients thus giving them more time than their allocated slot allows. This practice will also visit you at home if you need a home visit which is something that most other practices fail to do making more work for an already overstretched A@E department. I have been a patient for twenty two years and have no complaints. People obviously get on better with some doctors than others but you can see the doctor of your choice if you are willing to wait, this is a very busy practice so that might not always be possible if you need a doctor in a hurry. Most practices nowadays have more patients than they should be expected to cope with and people should consider this before complaining about the service. Long may the great service continue.

I have received nothing but brilliant service from the Drs and staff at this surgery. Drs have called me back when promised, always got an appointment when needed and nurses have gone beyond the call of duty where my son has been concerned.

After waiting 1 hour to be seen for a pre booked appointment I received a poor consultation with a long standing male doctor at this surgery despite being employed and paying for my meds. This left me in tears. My opinions were dismissed and I was treated rudely not even allowed to describe my symptoms. It was clear the doctor in question had a prior engagement and made it apparent. I'm absolutely disgusted at the service (or lack thereof) that I 'received'. I will not be returning to this doctor. Having said that I have nothing but positive things to say about the empathy, understanding and medical competence of both Dr Kane and Dr Morrison who also work at this surgery and the positive stars would not have been without their care, understanding and support (it would have been higher if I had not had this poor experience from the male doctor).
