Prestwick to Las Palmas Flight (& return)

Hands down the nicest airport I have been to! A really quiet and calm experience with lovely staff and the car park's across the road!

Definitely somewhere I'd like to fly from again!

Very good if travelling with children.

I'm a wheelchair user diverted from Glasgow airport to Prestwick airport 28th Feb from Dubai because of snow the service my wife and I received from the staff was excellent they could not do anymore to help us get home to Linwood they managed to get a taxi driver willing tackle the terrible road conditions get us home the driver also was terrific and I would like to thank him for his help again thanks for everything you did for greatly appreciated.

Small and simple airport with a friendly and helpful staff, the minimum and necessary services and it's quiet if you need to rest. 

Also it has its own train Station/stop so it's not a real problem to arrive in this airport if your plans are to go to any other place of Scotland since, for example, it has direct connection with the Glasgow Central Station and it's not expensive if you are a traveler (you get a discount if you show your boarding pass), in fact i only had to pay the ticket Glasgow Central - Waverley Station (Edinburgh). 

If you are not cautious enough to do not investigate on google the airport you are arriving when you book your flight it's not their fail so i don't get the point of rate low this airport because of your lack of interest.

Was standing behind a young 15 year old girl who was on her first alone flight which was bound for Spain. The man in front of her had hand luggage which measured to big but was allowed to continue. The young girl stepped forward the 2 staff members had her open her hand luggage, went through everything. They drug tested all her liquids ie contact lense solution, sun tan lotion, shampoo etc. They told her that she may not get to fly as her hand luggage was to big. I saw who I had presumed to be her mum measure the case in the hand luggage guide before going through toward security. The girl was in floods of tears! I was compelled to step forward and asked what the problem was but was basically ignored and told to move on. Once the young girl came through security I wanted to make sure she was OK. A passenger had gone back through to tell the girls mum what was happening so the mum phoned her. They were made to pay £50 for absolutely no reason! I was and still am totally disgusted with their treatment of the girl. I don't use that airport anymore and advise friends of what happened. We pay the extra or whatever to use a different airport
