Lovely weekend away with our two dogs. Cottage was lovely and clean. Views were amazing. Forest and beach nearby were beautiful and I strongly recommend a walk to the lighthouse when the tide is out. The cottage was lovely and tastefully decorated. Lovely large bedroom. Loved the underfloor heating! Negatives: No hoover. Although the cottage was lovely and clean, we came with two dogs. A hoover would have been useful. I like to hoover daily at home as bits get bought in by the dogs and we had been to the beach etc. we were also there for a long weekend so multiple nights. There was a broom but it was a hard yard broom so we ended up sweeping the floor on hands and knees with a dustpan and brush. Lack of kitchen items. We were in the cottage cooking for ourselves. We had planned ahead with food items although had not anticipated needing cooking utensils. There was no baking trays, just a roasting dish, only 1 large knife, 1 bin bag in the bin no extras and limited drinking vessels.
Location: Out of the way but with preparation prior to arrival, it is easy to find using Google Map. SatNav does not recognise this place and postcode brings you to wrong place. Gravel road now, no potholes and we did fine with a regular car. Cottage itself: We stayed at Gold Finch, a 2 room cottage. Laundry room was just next to it. We ate in because going out for food was a hassle after dark. Master bedroom was Ok, the second smaller room has bed with a very very ,floppy mattress, no power points for charging phone. Living room was dark after sunset; the hanging light wasn't bright enough. It was difficult to work at the table. Could do better with a baking tray and more toilet paper rolls. Toilet was not vacuumed. There was short hair dog maybe all over. Support: We had questions about the cottage but there wasn't anyone to talk to us immediately. The listed number in our booking email was the former owner's he said he sold the business. The promised kitchen supplies never came, so we bought our own. Exterior: The sign posted way to waterfalls and lake led us to nowhere. We never ventured out far from the cottage on foot. On the whole, a pretty cottage good for brief stay. They need more contact with patrons with trouble and a resource/online link on how to work some of the appliances in the house email has no link to such.
Two blokes on walking break. Lovely warm cottage. Quiet location and handy for touring the island.Rooms: 5/5
Wow! The best holiday cottage I've stayed in 60 years. Everything you could want for a relaxing holiday. Perfect location for us and our pooch with a wildlife lake a field away. The staff we met we're wonderful and offered to help with anything we may have needed as was the owner on the phone. We'd give this higher than 5* if we could. Shame its 300+ miles away now as would be great for a long weekend every few months. Thank you for a truly memorable birthday holiday.
The lane leading to the properties is awful, almost half a mile of lose stones. Property external view is very good. Negatives are: very poor WiFi and not safe as no passwords, very intermittent mobile coverage, welcome pack was non existent even when I asked for it . No information existed in the property except for TV. No instructions on how to use the cooker or other appliances. Toaster was to small for normal size bread!. Missing a pizza cutter. Oven glove was filthy. Sofa was not comfortable could go on but really best to say Anglesey great, Glan Morfa, sorry but no, will not be returning. Just to be clear I have lots of experience in staying in holiday cottages and this stay rates towards the bottom of my experiences.
Visited recently since the upgrades to the cottages. Interiors look amazing and a great improvement. Be back again later in the summer with the dogs for another break.
Brilliant place, booked at very short notice and they were more than accommodating. Quiet site with amazing views. Clean and well maintained cottages. Thank you very much.

What an amazing place to stay. Beautiful country side, cottages very well done and clean. Hosptaility 11/10 the owners are extremely friendly and they really have thought of everyone. Extra beds, BBQ's, library, WIFI, baby seats. We will be staying here everytime we come to Wales. Which is every year for our aunt.Rooms: 5/5
