Since I was diagnosed with cancer, my life has been turned up side down. Although I must thank all the Team at the Cancer Treatment Centre for their kindness and amazing support. My dad was rushed to Glan Clwyd hospital early hours of Saturday morning. I live in Cambridgeshire. They contacted me straight away and informed me of what was happening. When I got up to North Wales the staff were so helpful and friendly. My dad was on the CCU and the nurse looking after him was Michelle. She was amazing with my Dad and us. Thank you for all you do.
An individual was brought in by the police and was seen id say within a hour by a dr. Before many other patients who had been waiting here for several hours!!!!. So if you want to be seen quickly be sure to be brought in by the police as they take priority over ambulance admissions and GP’s referrals!!, just saying
I had to go to a&e and stayed in for 5days. I sat in the corridor on a drip for approx 36 hours as there were no beds. However this is not the staffs fault as they are under a lot of pressure. After this I was given a bed for the night and then was moved to AMU All I can say is all of the staff including the receptionists, doctors, nurses, care assistants, domestics etc were absolutely wonderful. They really looked after me and did there absolute best to get me well. I was treated with respect and dignity at all times. I feel I had the best care and all of the staff were lovely. The staff work extremely hard, they didn’t stop and were all working under extreme pressure. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of the staff for helping me get well again and am extremely grateful for the care I received.
Disgrace of a place. Waiting in A&E with my 81 year old Mum for 32 hours now. She's been sat in a chair all night and had no sleep. Took my sister in law who is a nurse there to finally get her antibiotics. Still waiting for a bed....God only knows how long for.
