A good value, clean hotel; fairly typical of a Premier Inn. However, what lifted my experience this time, and elevated the review to 5 stars was staff member Melania who is extremely pleasant, helpful and incredibly hard working. Receptionist, waitress, and a good saleswoman - my friend and I took the meal/drink/breakfast offer up at her urging. Decent food at a good price too. A very pleasant stay which has put Premier Inn back on my radar.
Stayed a week at Premier Inn beverley for work purposes, as always everything was top notch! Clean room super comfy bed, the food was expertly cooked, extremely tasty! staff were very accommodating nothing was to much trouble.. keep up the good work
On arrival the self service screens weren't working a good start not. Got checked in by a lovely member of the staff key card given and went up to our room. My wife had a shower and when she finished she couldn't turn off the shower, it was on hot and the tap had came off. So I found a member of staff and she went to get some tools and within 10 minutes it was fixed. She went above her duty. Didn't sleep well as we were stuck above an Aircon unit or extractor fan which kept us both awake. The bathroom and decor of the room for a fairly new premier Inn was poor. I travel and use premier Inn all over and for been in a nice area was a poor inn. Will I stay again I'm not sure.
After checking in we made our way to the second floor where the whole corridor stank of vomit/strong feet odour unfortunately once inside our room I could still smell it and was unable to open the window to let fresh air in.nIn the morning I was looking forward to my unlimited breakfast but the breakfast area was very busy and with very little hot food available. I did get my fry up eventually but had to go up for a bit here and there as the cook struggled to keep up with demand. I have since learned that premier inn accept ‘walk ins’ so the locals come for a good unlimited breakfast, this however meant there wasn’t enough for us guests.
Giving this hotel a 5 star mainly due to customer service received by Andrèa. He really helped us swap rooms and made sure we were comfortable before he left us for the night. Really appreciate your help and thank you!
