The George and Dragon for me is one of my go to places in the summer sit by the river drink a cold beer and listen to some music. Very dog friendly which is important for me. Happily drink in there at any other time.

As a family run establishment this is my favorite place to grab a beverage or a meal in Salisbury. Every single person is made to feel welcome by the staff. It doesn't matter whether you are alone or in a group as you will never be lonely here. The landlord has a comprehensive knowledge in a vast array of subjects and holds an intellectual conversation just as well as being able to have a laugh and joke. The female bar staff are consistently lovely and always make extra effort with customers. There is something here for everyone. You can have a first date by the river with seclusion from the rest of the pub; you can listen to live music regularly which varies to suit all or you can have a party here. Everything is accommodated. I truly cannot rate this place enough and recommend it to everybody!

Classic pub with a good sized beer garden. Juke box can be very well used, and very amusing. Lock ins are good fun (not that they happen, of course)...

GREAT atmosphere! Our food was really good and the portions were just right. The locals were warm and accepting. A Deffinate go back when we return!
