I’ve used the service in Gloucester for some years now - twice during emergencies when I was in severe pain - and have found the staff highly professional, attentive and caring. On the last occasion I saw Dr Mohamed, both he and the dental hygienists assisting him were very approachable, listened to my concerns and explained very thoroughly what my particular problems were and their suggestions to rectify it. It’s a very busy practice, but I’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes over an allotted appointment time, and even then they apologised profusely for the wait. They also received excellent feedback from their last CQC inspection. Have never felt rushed during a consultation and have lost my ‘dread’ of dental appointments due to their care. Would highly recommend, without reservations.

Very bad experience, had emergency appointment for gum infection, tooth removed, took over 30 minutes, came out in pieces, worst extraction I have had, the dentist was inexperienced, follow up one week later infection still there after antibiotics, still there after another course of same antibiotic, sought another NHS dentist who administered antibiotics direct inside the gum, finally cleared up after more than three weeks. Would not recommend.

Just tried to make an appt on behalf of my husband and was told this isnt allowed!! Taking data protection too far I think, have always managed previously to do this. Crazy times yet I can manage to make him doctors appts - makes no sense

I waited 3 and a half months for a hygienist appointment, which because I work shifts I had to get approval for to be able to leave work, for Genix to message me 2 days before my appointment and tell me it's been cancelled! The next available appointment would be a further month wait 😡 now I understand things happen that our out of people hands, but reception staff could at least pretend to have a bit of empathy, no not with Genix. Never the less I got my refund and have gone back to a private non NHS dentist, because it's true what they say.... you pay for what you get! If you can afford to go private to do!!! It's worth paying the extra!!! Please not I had to give 1 start to be able to post a review, but in all honesty I wouldn't even give them that.

Good Dentist but the worst customer service EVER! It felt like before they had my money they were really nice but once i had paid, they were horrid! Never going back there again.
