Absolutely no good shouldn't even be in job with don't care attitude. Called Friday as was in crisis tried on alexa but they woman said she call back never did. Next morning I tried to ring back and walk my dog I suffer health issues and had flare up and ended up on floor unable to move my phone was dying which I told them when called but no one called back till hours later !. Lucky my dog kept me warm and safe and my younger brother notice I wasn't home and looked for me and found me . Then was with family till fell asleep when I did wake up my partner was with me so did not ring back as felt abandoned by the people who was suppose to help at crisis point Still no one message to check or ask
If you have a Crisis, then please try them, but, in my opinion you would be better off, Not! Unfortunately they are supposed to be "trained professionals!" They seem to talk at you, tell you what your problem is.... After all they are "The Professionals!" So if they say "you are mad!" Then of course, you are... That is my experience, my opinion, my truth... I am sure they help some? And, some have helped me, but unfortunately not many... I feel that they are actually the "Mental Health Police!" Unfortunately they seem to be trained to talk, not listen... I think they should have training, in, listening but more importantly Hearing... Ssh ssh...
I don't actually believe for one minute that they sit at the end of the phone trying to talk you through a crisis when you're suicidal when all they can say is that its "your decision". This team promotes, not prevent and its going to be, and has been, the reason why so many people have lost their lives. I'm tired of believing that i was a lost cause, especially when this team have no hope in even changing for the best.
Cannot praise them enough, they helped to bring my Father through a crisis, 2 actually. I take my hat off to you all for your expert help and speedy response time. Many, many thanks
They are cruel, incompetent and cause more trauma. You ring in crisis, suicidal, distraught desperate. You get told by a call centre, I'm not making this up, that you'll be contacted within an hour. You don't get contacted. This is CRISIS service in this appalling backward neglectful Trust and hellish County. Shame on you, Together Trust.
No help from them ever A waste of time. If you thinking of killing yourself, this is the place to ring. The stuff are so cold, detached and uncaring that you really feel alone and sad. No emphaty. They are only there to collect their wages. Sod about the people who suffer. They are not even listen to you. This is the fastest way to suicide. Ring them, you'll find out.,
Call another help line. This service makes you want to kill yourself.
Absolutely shocking service! You are spoken over when trying to have a conversation. The interest in helping people is not there, the services are diabolical. Absolute waste of time.
I have never come across a service that is suppose to be there to support people so awful, Gloucester mental health service is the worst I've ever come across. They pass you from pillar to post not really having any clue what they are doing and make matters 100 times worse. It's no wonder mental health and suicide is on the increase with such a shocking service
Im suffering with what they call Repressed mental growth basically i have the brain of a child despite being 24 and i was told to just '' '' '' grow up''. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS GO TO HEREFORD INSTEAD
