We had a wonderful Valentines dinner at Gees. The food was wonderful and atmosphere perfect for a date. The specials of the evening were really great as well! If we're ever in Oxford again we will dine here again.
I recently enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Gees Restaurant in Oxford, and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was inviting, with a charming setup that enhanced the dining experience. I ordered a classic burger with a side of fries, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The burger was juicy and had a great combination of fresh ingredients, including crisp lettuce and melted cheese, while the fries were golden and crispy.nnThe service was attentive and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Gees is a wonderful spot for a casual yet high-quality meal in Oxford. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious lunch with a lovely ambiance.
This restaurant was overpriced as the food in terms of taste and presentation are not up to the standard of theat price paid. The Today’s fish £28.50, Pork Belly £25.35, burger £20.50. Atmosphere is too dark and too small for the two person round table. The issue matters us is the service is disappointing where we were stopped by a waitress when we were walking out of the restaurant, as she forgot to charge us an extra bottle of water in our bill we had paid at £121 and asked us to top up extra £5 ish with another bill printed out separately we didn’t order any extra bottle of water at all.
Absolutely lovely evening - fabulous welcome, great looking and tasting food in beautiful surroundings. Not cheap when having wine and cocktails as well but lovely for a special occasion. Thank you for the birthday dessert as well!
Sitting in the greenhouse. A very special atmosphere. Very nice food. And the brownie - have a look to the fotos. The heaven on earth. Brilliant!
