It's a lovely place to live

Easy to access station, friendly staff within the ticket office who are knowledgeable and willing to get you the best ticket

I parked here from 5pm to 10pm on a Wednesday night and my car was broken into, window smashed and my handbag stolen from the boot. Someone had watched me put my handbag in the boot, as it was not on show and no other cars had been targeted. If you park here be extra careful.

A small but overall average station on the line towards Manchester Airport. Both platforms have step free access thanks to a winding ramped bridge down to the street and each side has some form of seating, shelter and a ticket machine. A ticket office is on the Manchester bound platform too.nnA car park with a few spaces is located on the airport side of the station and for whatever reason, TPE serve here instead of the busier East Didsbury station. I don't get it either.

I went to purchase one adult return and one child, 4 years of age. The man on a till was absolutely clueless. He told me I had to pay £8.50 return. When confronted asking if this is for both of us, he asked me how old is the child. I had to repeat myself again only for him to understand he overcharged us. No apology. If I would not asked, would have paid a higher price. I think ticket advisor should pay extra care listening to what customers are actually asking him.
