Very friendly family orientated pub. Spacious seating. Reasonably priced food and drinks. A good selection on menu. Good discounts on Wednesdays.

Terrible experience. Went there today Saturday around 12 30 pm, and was greeted by a drunken group who's language was absolutely blue. I am an ex builder and have heard it all before but do not expect to sit down for a meal with my wife and my 88 year old mother in law and hear it shouted as we sat there. They were drunk when we arrived and where still being served tray fulls of shot and beer. Me and my wife where there when the place first opened and it was a lovely family place with friendly staff. The tables where sticky and the knives and forks where filthy, the food was good but after seeing the state of the cuttlry it makes you wonder. Sorry but we would not recommend going there as we will not be going back ourselves.

Awful food. Prices and deals good but I won't be going back. The roast dinners tasted like microwaved food from a packet. Service and restaurant was good but its all about the food for my family.

Best place locally for cheap family meals and a pleasant time out. Also has a bar to the one side if you are just wanting to pop in for one or two. I presume they have the football games on there two as they have a number of massive TVs showing sky sports. Very clean and tidy. Super friendly and helpful staff. Best pub that's local

The gate house on Stafford road. The service is disgusting. The food was tasteless and horrible. The waiting staff was very unfriendly. The man behind the bar was straight faced and not welcoming. I will never come here again. I cannot believe that a kitchen has no foil or not cling film to take away food. Very very poor indeed. Should close it down
