I visit Yates regularly. I began visiting the restaurant because it is in good walking distance from many of the shops I like to visit. Now, it is one of my top choices for places to get lunch when I'm in Wolverhampton because the service is so friendly (the staff are willing to answer your questions and they serve you with a smile). The food is also delicious and is reasonably priced. The pub vibe means it's not necessarily a top choice for a formal evening meal but for a lunch break/visiting for a bite to eat while out shopping, I highly recommend it.

Love the layout of this place and always a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Food menu is as good as any other chain too, but it's just more relaxed here. A great Pub with something throughout the day and night for all.

If you are on a night out in Wolves, you could to a lot worse than Yates. It can get extremely busy at times, but that simply adds to the atmosphere. Only ever seen a little trouble in there once, and the door staff removed the trouble right away.

Food is good and reasonably priced, service is quick and friendly. It's always clean and is busy but not too crowded. Great cheap (ish) night out. Cocktails are some of the best in town.
