Been here on several occasions for breakfast & been totally disappointed on all occasions. We always say it can't always be bad all the time, but it is. Apart from cold breakfasts twice this time my partner had a breakfast wrap with no cheese so was asked would he like something extra to which he asked for a slice of bacon instead. So, too our amazement the wraps tasted lovely & were hot. Then came the CRUNCH!! The only extra in the wrap was EGG SHELL!!! No extra bacon. Needless to say never again. Thank you to the manager though who was lovely about the whole situation & refunded our money without dispute.

Food was good and prices were decent. However, the customers appeared to have a complete lack of awareness for the security of their personal belongings and the staff a lack of care for their customers personal safety and security. In this day and age, our view is you can't be too careful. Yes, often it may be nothing, but unattended bags are a threat. We were only in there for a short time. We saw two unattended bags. When pointing these out to staff, they didn't seem to care and did not seem to understand why we were concerned. I even heard one staff member telling another about the first bag saying how the customer seemed stressed and they didn't understand why. Very unprofessional and rude.

This is a really nice pub. I've used it alot over the years. But... What let it down for me was snotty bar staff. I didn't go back for a while. I've been alot recently and things are much better. A great place to eat inside and out weather permitting. Perfect on a hot day having drinks watching the river go by. Give it a try👌

A very nice pub that is comfortable to sit in for hours. Reasonable prices and good deal days my personal favourite is the Tuesday steak club, very well priced steak and a drink with optional extras. Refillable hot drinks are a great touch drinking in means the cup is £1.05 and taking away is 85p for any hot drink from the machine. Food and drinks are good quality and with good prices.

Opens early and has a good range of beers and ales. Located just a few minutes walk from the bus station and opposite the theatre. It serves good pub food with a decent choice and variety. Prices are good too !
