As far as garden centres go, this is definitely one of the better ones. Sadly the restaurant has already started making a few cuts on ingredients though. The chilli jacket potato use to be amazing, made with tender chopped chunks of beef, now a much less tasty mince meat is used. Such a shame when the accountants get involved.nOverall though, a nice place to spend an hour or two.
I love this place! The service in the restaurant is quick and efficient. The displays in the shop are wonderful. A really great place to buy gifts. The farmshop has lots of lovely things.
For my talk ‘From the Amazon to Freddy Felix’ in BlueHouse artspace a few months ago I got many plants from Garsons Farm in West End, Esher. Always good and lovely staff.

There is fresh, delicious food that I have never seen before, but I am very disappointed with what happened today.nnI went to your shop around 3 o'clock today, did some shopping, paid at the checkout counter, and was about to leave when the alarm rang. A clerk named Julia pointed at me and my friend and yelled at us to check our shopping lists. So the young male employee right in front of the door checked the shopping list and items and said there was nothing wrong. After that, another employee named Julia came to me and asked to see my bag, so I took out the contents of my bag on the trolley and showed it to her. Of course, it was all just my stuff. The employee didn't even apologize to us, she just told us to go home and check to see if there were any new items in my bag. I've been traveling around with this bag for a week and it's never set off an alarm like this - not once. Moreover, in front of many people at the checkout counter, they treated us like thieves and made us check our items and open our bags, but the employee named Julia didn't even give us a proper apology.nnWe were angry and in a bad mood, but we simply gave a refund and left, but as I thought about it on the way back in the car, I felt even angrier than before, and I wrote this out of shame. Do you treat customers like thieves simply because they set off the alarm you almost said it as if we were sure that we were thieves and teach them to check the items and their belongings bags in front of all the customers and in front of so many people? Or are you ignoring us because we are Asian? I'm not 100% sure, but is it because she's racist and we're Asian?nnBetween the checkout counter and the door, she Julia made us open and check our bags in front of many people, making us angry and embarrassed.nAnd when the employeeJulia checked my bag, she said she was in charge of customer service, but she didn't even reveal her name, and when my friend refunded the money, she said her name was on the receipt.nIf you want to check a customer's belongings, you should politely go to one side and check without assuming that the customer is a thief, but the employeeJulia did not do that.nnI don't understand why Saham, who lacks professionalism in customer service, is in charge of customer service, and I'm disappointed that your shop provides this level of customer service.nnIt's been a while since I came here to get some fresh air and do some shopping, but I was upset because I wasted my time. Are you going to compensate me for my time and my feelings?nnNo matter how much I think about it, I think you need to re-train your staff on customer service.nAnd we want a polite apology from the employee.
