Usually go to a different garage but had a feeling I wasn’t getting the best service from them, and boy was I right.  I received amazing service, the staff were all super friendly and polite. Saved my bacon in my hour of need and was very well priced for the job that was done.  100% going to be my new garage that I can trust. Also let me take my old parts home, this means I can sue the pants of the previous garage that were definitely ripping me off.

I was being let down by my usual service provider. booked in with Rich work completed to a great level. Great communication. I would highly recommend. I now send my light fleet here and my smaller commercial trucks. highly recommended

I booked my car in to be serviced and looked over to make sure it was in working order rich did a great job replacing bits that needed replacing car now drives a dream  will be back when my car needs sorting again

Was recommended to use this garage by word of mouth as my usual garage did not repair timing belts. The total repair cost £903 including 7 hours labour.  Best Engines were very straight forward to deal with, and I was really happy with the speed of repair and communication throughout.

They were supposed to finish my MOT and call me by 9, unorganised and car wasn't done until 10.30, they overcharged me from what they quoted also. The back of my wing mirror has been removed, which they "couldn't find" in the workshop, then denied having knowledge of. Didn't seem to have much business which isn't a great sign. Probably taking advantage of last minute MOTs. In the process with the manager of Raylor to get cctv of car coming in to claim damages.

Well, it makes me feel old looking at the BEST Engines website - established in 1994, and I think I must have been one of their very first customers.  Since then they have worked on a number of different engines for me.  I can remember engines for a Bentley, a Mercedes, an MG, an E Type Jag, and a Daimler on which they`ve done work.  Very thorough, professional and honest!  You know that if they say something needs doing, then it does need doing - and equally they will tell you if something does not need work.  Consequently when I started on my latest project - a twin OHC Lotus engine, there was only one place I would take it - even though I do now live 98 miles away!
