Friendly young staff.  Very willing to help but service slow,  long queues.  Rather cramp. But has lovely patioed garden at the back. Quite pricey but the but chocolate is luxurious and delicious.

Although actually part of a chain of around 35 or so bakeries based in the more prosperous suburbs of South East England, this brilliant shop feels friendly, local and one of a kind. They bake the most fabulous artisanal bread "like it used to be" (only much better), cakes and snacks, delicious coffee and hot chocolate, all served by the most delightful people. A beautiful garden where you can sit and eat. Not cheap  but you get what you pay for in this life.Go there.

I had a wonderful time! Mocha was really good and I liked my mozzarella, pesto sandwich on freshly baked bread. Service was excellent! They have the hidden garden!!!! 👍👍👍 I would love to come back to try the rest of the menu!

Staff stood around ignoring us, until eventually asking if we wanted to be served. Were then rude when they'd run out of an ingredient for what we had ordered, no apologies and finally gave no flexibility in offering other options. Walked out in the end, won't be rushing back

I just love this place. Although I don't eat pastry, there are plenty of other options, such as porridge, salads, quinoa etc. And their coffee is perfect.
