Recently refurbished with a NEW kids play area. Excellent value with meal deals throughout the week. Suitable for any occasion.

Story

The Gables is based in blurton and we are part of the Marstons pub chain and proud.


The interior of the pub is bare wood and tile giving a rustic feel with plenty of character, on the outside we have a spacious car park with disabled parking and a quaint beer garden. From liqueurs to beer, as well as three well kept cask ales for those of you who have a taste for good old British beer!

The Gables, is a modern day pub with up to date pub grub. The place is great place for friends n family to catch up either our there a few drinks or some grub. If you have a young family and the weather is nice, there is a play section outside. Though the food was really nice, this time round I had to ask the waiter for some cheese because my cheeseburger had no cheese. Also the burger was little over cooked for me. However the sticky toffee pudding and the caramel yum yum dessert both with custard made up for it and was very very tasty.

Lovely food - delicious. Nice big portions too so well worth the money. Was quite busy but didn't have to wait too long for food - it was Christmas Eve day we visited too. The pub had been redecorated not so long ago so nice clean decor. Separate area for families (with young children) too if desired. The only area for improvement would be the drink - the Pepsi Max out of the pump tasted very watery which implies the drink itself had gone flat.

Staff friendly and efficient. Food arrived quickly, piping hot, no complaints at all. Enjoyed our visit this evening, will definitely go back again.

Me and my family come here all the time we love it, its a lovely place nicely decorated and the staff are lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend 😃

Very disappointed on this visit. We waited quite some time for our main meals to arrive & it was quite obvious they had forgot about as when our meals did arrive I could tell the cauliflower cheese tart had been cooked twice or at least cooked and then warmed as it came all shriveled up. Plus I had to go to the bar to ask if the pudding was ever going to be served. If it wasn't for the fact they were already paid for we would have told them to forget it. Should of complained but sadly didn't we just wanted to go as we'd waited so long.
