Great service from start to finish, even when dealing with an awkward customer like myself. - A breath of fresh air to the industry.  We previously purchased a used car from another Norwich Used Car Dealer to find multiple and major issues with it... we tried to get these issues resolved, but they refused to admit fault, agruments followed and we paid for an independant inspection, which confirmed our thoughts related to the faults with multiple major mechanical items on the car we sought advice from Citezen Advice and finally got our money back under a legal agreement.  In desperate need of a family car after having a horrendous experience with the other used car dealer, we found G R Carter Motors on Google Maps while searching for local used car dealers near Norwich. Their Google Reviews were very positive and these do paint a true picture of them. Everything seemed to fall just right for us as we even found the exact same make and model of car that we previously spent months looking for. It couldn't have been better timing. All the vehicles that G R Carter Motors sell are of good quality and low mileage, perfect for our needs.  On the purchase of our car, we agreed that it would go through a full service and MOT prior to our collection, alongside a cambelt and waterpump change based on the recommended service requirements.  Since the purchase of our car, Mark has been nothing but helpful... We needed to go back to G R Carters a couple of times to have a couple of very small issues fixed. Due to my newly developed trust issues related to car sales, I turned out to be a challenging customer for Mark requesting proof of work completed, invoices, and photographs, all of which were provided within an instant and out of hours.  Mark at G R Carter has restored my trust in Car Salesmen and goes above and beyond for his customers. I hope to build on that trust in the future when we look to upgrade our cars. Purchased a Mazda2 last Friday, after going around garages in the city and other towns with pushy salespersons.. It was so lovely to get really good honest service. I hadn’t known about this garage. I stumbled on it by accident driving to Acle, they put the Mazda through a MOT and three new tyres before collecting it. Feel I can always go back, if I ever have an issue as seem very fair and honourable. Will definitely go back in three years when I usually look at changing my car. Would highly recommend. AW

Iv been using carter's for a good few years and always had brilliant service from them. Thier work is completly flawless. I'm not car savvy in the slightest but everytime I'm had a problem with my car They have always gone above and beyond to get it sorted. Highly recommend and wouldn't use anyone else :

I had to replace my Isuzu pickup recently and the model I wanted was hard to find. GR Carter had a Rodeo Denver LE Max Sport for sale in my budget and with decent mileage. Trouble was I live in West Yorkshire 4 hours from Norwich so had to be certain about the Isuzu. Mark spoke to me on the phone and reassured me about the quality of the truck and would open up specially when I got there as it was Saturday and they closed at 1.00pm. I took the plunge and set off arriving at GR Carters at 4.30pm. When I arrived the truck was beautiful and just as good as Mark had described. Following a good look at the truck I bought it and Mark was totally professional and extremely helpful which made my journey worthwhile. Mark even phoned me the following day to make sure we got home alright and the truck was ok. I didn't think car garages were like this but would recommend them to anyone and would even travel again for my next car. Thanks a lot, Mark

We bought a car from Mark recently for our daughter; the service we received was exemplary. There was no pressure or 'salesman tactics' used and we were given plenty of time to look at, test drive and make a decision about the car. On collection Mark fitted the car mats our daughter had purchased and he was still double checking everything was okay as we left with it. We would highly recommend G R Carter Motors and will definitely be returning again. An added bonus was meeting Rachel and Douglas the Goldendoodle still need to get our dog one of those cool neckerchiefs! Thanks again for all your help.

Contacted this local used car dealer as I'd previously noticed that they had a workshop and I needed a repair on my car. I had been in contact with other garages but at the last minute I remembered Carters and gave them a ring. Thank god I've still got my memory. Very impressed with how my enquiry was handled and how the work was done. All at a fair price too. It's 5 minutes off the A47, so convenient, even though in a small village and with that "local" personal service. I don't want to go back there too often  but I will definitely use them again.
