It's just not good. The doctors are fine but the reception staff are just so unfriendly, and I hope you don't want an appointment because apparently that's not the kind of thing that happens here unless you phone up on the day and aren't 20th in the queue, so make sure you have an hour to sit listening to grainy hold music on a 20 second loop before being given a time that doesn't work for you so you need to go through the same again. Or you could use their broken and incomprehensible online service to get nowhere instead then have to ring up anyway.
The surgery used to be amazing but unfortunately the surgery has become awful. However the pharmasts at the surgery is amazing but certain Dr is awful and does not care about the safety of her patients and being medical dependant and young with children has managed to stop me from enjoying activities with my children and was rude and had no interest in patient freedom or welfare and costs of medication was the priority not the patient absolutely disgusting and will be lodging a formal complaint. The reception staff nurses critical care an pharmasist and some Dr's are lovely just a shame a doctor is willing to put patients at risk. If only records and things were read and communicated I'm sure this would change and become a much better practice that puts patients before costs. Sorry to write this but I hope things improve and once my formal complaint is in it will be investigated and actions made to improve and reduce the risks on patients. Thank you
I rang surgery today at 8.30 was 4th in line . Spoke to lovely receptionist who arranged for me a call back which I asked for ...no problems at all. I have been with this surgery for many years and would not change . All members of staff have always been helpful
Been a patient 4 years at this surgery . I have no complaints, good online booking system. Dr mosha is the best and they have a Very good minor illness nurse Mr Wright.
This surgery is terrible. I had to wait in a cue every single time. Even someone answer the call they don’t have any available appointments. They are saying that I can use online service. Honestly I would love to do it, but this online system is awful. I can check it morning, afternoon, evening, midnight, and no available appointments. Once I was lucky and booked an appointment using online service. However, it has been cancelled. I asked why. The answer was that online appointments are only for cold, running nose, caught I laughed. How it is possible to know 2 weeks earlier if I will be cold or not?!
I am fed up with this surgery. Whenever I call, they keep me waiting for at least 20-30 minutes, finally when I get to talk to someone asking for an appointment there is nothing available or they offer me only 1-2 options all in the morning or noon time and when I say that I am working that day and time, they say: Dr is only working till 12:40??!!!!! I tried to change my GP but other surgeries say that I have to stay with the closest to my address!!! I am so very disappointed, frustrated and fed up:
Simply awful it was a fantastic surgery 4 years ago, rapidly gone down hill. I called over 200 times in hour to get through then have to wait additional 30 minutes in a queue before speaking to a receptionist. When I finally got appointment was told by DR. Mosha they didn’t have my medical files and I would be only be able to tell her one issue, meaning I have to call back to discuss a issue relating to this one. Absolutely awful service.
I had an appointment at Furzton today to see a nurse for bloods etc. She is the kindest yet professional nurse I have ever seen here. I felt so relaxed and not panicked at all. I saw Nurse Beth. She also did my blood pressure reading because I had got a message on the MJOG app to take a reading. Thank you Nurse Beth for making my surgery visit very pleasant.
GP’s and nurses are lovely and extremely helpful. I cannot praise Dr Mosha enough! The reception staff however bar the older lady with short hair and glasses are beyond rude. They have 0 patience and no people skills what so ever. One of the reception staff even tutted and rolled her eyes after having to repeat herself a few times to my father, who has a hearing disability. They have posters up to say that verbal abuse to staff will not be tolerated, but perhaps their staff could benefit from some sort of communication and basic manners if it exists training as I can understand how people get frustrated with them and how they speak to patients.
I had an appointment with an urgent care practitioner, Fionna, and she was lovely! The service you get depends on who your appointment is with. I told her about my symptoms and instead of asking me to come back for a blood test, she did it right on the spot so I wouldn't have to come back! Had a very lovely conversation with her as well and she made me feel at ease. This was my first appointment with an urgent care practitioner and it made me feel relieved due to her lovely personality!
