I am very impressed with furniture world ST Austell, the experience from start to finish was stress free and extremely helpful. Staff are very friendly and listen intently to what I wanted. I was very impressed with Alan and Jamie the delivery team, they where absolutely brilliant. So professional, patient and friendly. My house wasn’t the easiest to get furniture in but as true professionals they made it happen. Even after delivery I still got amazing after care and my emails answered very quickly thank you Harry and the team
We needed a new bed and while we have cheap places locally selling everything, including beds and plants, a good comfortable bed is worth getting right. The sales lady gave us all the time we needed and we now have had delivered a new bed with a fantastic mattress that’s really comfortable. The delivery guys did a great job getting it in, polite and while all the time wearing masks and observing social distancing. Thanks, a really nice shop to buy from.
This is a large store with a good range of living and dining room furniture on the ground floor and beds and bedroom furniture on the second floor. We were greeted by Debi, who asked if she could help and we said we’d like to have a look first at sideboards. When we went back to her nothing was too much trouble, writing down measurements for us to take away. We returned a few days later and Debi immediately recognised us. Throughout the buying process Debi informed us exactly what to expect regarding delivery and true to her word we were phoned, delivery was arranged and they gave us a 2 hour window and then called again 5 minutes before they arrived. The delivery guys were friendly, polite and asked us where we wanted it to go. Very happy with our purchase, it’s a good solid piece of oak furniture and have just ordered the coffee table to match. Would definitely recommend this company.
Very good service, purchased a new sofa, and it was very efficient and professional. Had it delivered within 5 days, and they set it up and took all the packaging away. Happy days
First visit before refurb purchased a sofa. Still waiting for delivery in new year so will see how they do. Would be a five star however the boss man needs to negotiate more! Very tight. To be fair he is a business man so fair enough .some good deals in there. Updated review 101118 pretty average response from owner so I’ve had a re think and for now they get five stars as they did give me a discount albeit very small, I have no reason to complain. I’ve heard a few customers have been let down on promised delivery dates so let’s see how they do with me then hopefully they can keep the five star review and maybe the owner can reflect on his initial response to my first 4 star rating.
Recently bought several items of furniture from this store. Most was delivered quickly, efficiently and was just what we needed. The furniture for our sitting room was wrong. We found this was due to the manufacturer NOT the store. Paul who took our order had completed the paperwork correctly so it was the manufactorers mistake. This disappointed me until Paul took over to sort out the problem. He soon had lovely furniture sorted out which was delivered quickly. We are thrilled with our new sofa and chair and thank Paul for everything he did. Also ,I would like to thank all the fantastic delivery guys who are courteous and so helpful. They made the whole experience so much better. Thank you everyone.
