It raises funds for local charity Emmaus North Staffs. Also on site is our Donation Station, where people can drop-off items to be resold in both our charity shops. Completely wasted trip. It was wet inside the warehouse, all the furniture and machinery were wet. We saw a few items with mould on. Buckets all over the floor overflowing from the leaking roof. Most of the items are overpriced, even when some are broke or heavily worn. Honestly I think 1 out of 5 stars is generous. Don’t waste your time.
Love this place ! So many beautiful pieces to choose from, like any charity shop there’s some new, some old, some gems and some not so but it’s all down to your personal taste. So far I’ve had a beautiful arm chair and an antique dresser, delivered for a small extra charge and the guys have always been really helpful
Huge second hand furniture store with a massive selection of everything from beds to Bread makers, as well as smaller items like clothes and books. They will deliver for a reasonable fee.
The last site they operated in used to be great to have a good old rummage through, but since splitting the general stock up in the potteries and the furniture here its gone down hill. I used to spend £20+ practically every week. I don't think I've spent £5 in nearly 5 months. Shame
Rang 3 weeks ago to book a collection sent in pictures as requested of the items … All good …. Date for collection tomorrow…. House sold …. Last day tomorrow…. Charity called today to cancel the collection stating they had no transportation….considering that this charity shop also collects for the local council and has no transportation…it makes you wonder how they will go on … total shambles for an organisation
Im amending my 5 star review. I used to go in here all the time at the previous site. probably spend £20+ a week....I don't go in any more to this new furniture warehouse store or the potteries one which is overpriced. You were able to have a really good rummage through and it was friendly....how quickly its changed.
When here other day look at some sofas and they were all covered in mould I was actually shocked and disgusted surely they should store them somewhere it'd not damp or cover them if they going to sell them.
It used to be a great place in the old building with reasonable prices and friendly staff. Having moved into the hanley shopping centre deserted zombie land and now hiked up the prices 10 fold sorry new pricing structure. With stuckup staff who think they are working at Harrods! Not worth the time paying for parking or risking being in this shady town centre. From the best value charity shop in the area to the worst .... AVOID!
Great store for furniture White goods plus more
Disappointed with Furniture Mine - I wanted to donate a dining table, four chairs all with fire certificates and a coffee table. I emailed photos and arranged collection for today. Waited in until late afternoon. They turned up and driver looked at the chairs only and said I can’t take this it’s too big and they should of told you on the phone. The chairs all had fire certificates but two had dust marks which I have sponged off. He said the chairs have marks on them. He didn’t even look at the table or coffee table. What a waste of my time and a charity’s fuel driving here. I wouldn’t have minded but I emailed them photos so they saw what they were collecting. I donated it for free on Facebook
