This opportunity to expand the portfolio came after fellow furniture firm Alan Ward went into liquidation. Cousins purchased site, alongside the firm’s flagship store in Shrewsbury.The Newcastle store opened in August and has since been rebranded and refurbished. There is a large selection of stock from world-renowned brands such as Parker Knoll, GPlan and Ercol. Despite being our smallest store, you can still explore different furniture styles, brands, and ranges with dedicated areas for each design.Cousins offers everything from recliners to dining tables, and sideboards to wardrobes."

I cannot praise the excellent service received by this store on Friday 21st Nov. With particular mention of the semi retired part time salesmen. My mother in law who is 98 and due to her circumstances cannot use her bed required a new rise and recline chair asap ie same day. The salesman I am sorry I cannot his name went above and beyond and arranged a same day delivery after purchase. When as we all know delivery of furniture at its best is days or even weeks Once again many thanks
Love the furniture. Loved the fact that I brought the full range of bedroom furniture all delivered and put together by them. Excellent service.
Yes first time visited and thought the store was well set up for displaying furniture. They had a good selection but we didn't purchase anything as we couldn't make our minds up about the items we were looking for. Good products though for different tastes. Would recommend visiting.
Never thought I would say this of Alan Ward, but here goes. We paid a sizeable deposit for furniture in March, expected delivery at start of May. Spoke to the customer service office second week of May, told I would be kept updated on delivery, obviously delay due to Covid 19. No contact, no response to email, now it seems that they have gone into administration.
Excellent store and lovely staff, they are always willing to help you find what you're after. Such a relaxed atmosphere in the store.
Staff v polite and welcoming, nice furniture, but no atmosphere. Sign of the times possibly.
Good range of beds and furniture. Friendly and attentive staff. Prices usually higher than others for same products.
