In 2014 Ben Jaconelli Launched Fully Charged with a view to make a difference. He believed that Electric Bikes were the answer to cure the commuter misery in London and any city, to help the city flow better, keep the air cleaner and beat the system.
Whilst also opening up the sport of Mountain Biking to everyone and anyone where they can go further and faster see more whilst enjoying every minute and offering enjoyable exercise and getting more people to enjoy the great outdoors.
Meanwhile shifting the negative stigma attached to Ebikes in previous years from older retired people, to a younger audience of early adopters of this amazing technology, people known as life enjoyers who care about the universe and want to be efficient and beat the system!
Now in 2017 Fully Charged are the market leading Ebike retailer in London and are making a difference. We have doubled the Turnover year on year and from a completely self funded business have got to a stage where we have international recognition and a real voice in the industry.
In Other countries in Europe such as the Netherlands and Germany, 1 in 3 bikes sold are electric. In the UK that number is about 1 in 75 we hope to bring that number down massivley and get more people to ditch their cars and out of someone's sweaty armpit on the tube or a bus. AND we can save them money because we have just got the price of a good electric bike down to £1/day over 3 years!
