Fab yoga studio in the heart of Tunbridge Wells! I've just completed my yoga teacher training course with The Freestyle Movement Project and it was great to find a course that was run on a 1-1 basis. Mark really knows his stuff and will make you question and think about your yoga practice in order to improve as a teacher. Also nice knowing that his support is ongoing even after the course ends.
I just finished my yoga teacher training with Mark at FMP and I enjoyed every minute of it! He made every session interesting and fun, all the while giving a no-nonsense approach. His tireless energy is inspiring, he really means it when he says he's a Duracell bunny. Always on the end of the phone/email to answer with great patience any questions big or small. His programme is practical, methodical and smart. The free classes available throughout the course were also massively instrumental in helping us become better teachers. - I will definitely be returning for more classes!
Great range of classes with something for everyone. Mark and Jackie are great teachers who are continually evolving their own practice to bring us the best classes. I really enjoy going to FYP and really look forward to my classes. Thank you for all your hard work team FYP! X
Having practised traditional vinyasa yoga for years, FYP’s approach to yoga is refreshing. Since taking ‘The Hour’ classes with Mark over the past 3 months where the focus is on building strength, agility and moving on and off the mat-you could be doing jumping squats as well as walking planks and doing pole work- I have become addicted ! If you are looking to move, which we should all be, and get a serious workout then The Freestyle Yoga Project is a must. The stronger classes are complimented perfectly by the ‘Mellow Yellow’ practice where you move deeply and slowly and Linda’s Tuesday class is divine. Highly recommend
Variety of classes to suit everyone who wishes to learn or improve their yoga with no nonsense instruction. Some classes go beyond old styles yoga by bringing in locomotion or dedicated classes for handstand aspirants. Having done classes here the last three and a half years I can thoroughly recommend. I believe it is the yoga studio to go to in Tunbridge Wells.
Joanna is clearly an exceptionally experienced yogi who has an excellent ability to understand and engage with children. All children could benefit from attending Joanna's classes whether it be to help their concentration, improve their confidence or simply just to have a great time and a lot Of fun.
The FYP studio is fab. There’s a variety of classes to suit everyone and the space itself is gorgeous. Mark’s classes will challenge you, make you strong and make you think about the way you move. He’s a brilliant teacher!
This is a special place where Mark expertly teaches his unique take on yoga and movement. Incredibly good
