The fact I've been going for 30 years says it all. Such a friendly place with low staff turnover so you can build up a relationship with your stylist.

Dreadful experience getting my two sons hair cut. Two dolled up senior stylists posed by the coffee machine idly watching as a new trainee tried and failed to achieve any semblance of a styled haircut on either of my sons heads. I waited until the student had gone to try to avoid hurting her feelings, and told the senior members of staff that I wasn't happy with the haircuts, particularly my older son's hair, which looked as jagged as medieval castle battlements.
"What's wrong with it?" one of the senior women asked while looking at my son, who was squirming with embarrassment. What's wrong was that I was expected to pay £8 per boy for their student to practice her skills at my expense. They should have paid me.
