I came to the Freeman hospital yesterday for a scan.  After a mix up I was missed for Patient transport home. I waited four and a half hours. The lady on Main reception desk, was so kind and helpful. She did her best to get me home. What an asset she is to the hospital. Many thanks to her .

Very homely nurse and attentive doctors. Everyone was polite and helpful too

Attended appointment with partner.  She was sent for ECG prior to seeing Consultant.  Sat in ECG waiting room for over an hour.  Some people were walking in and seen to straight away.  This had a knock on effect with consultant appointment time.  Consultant saw us 2 hours after partners appointment time!  Hospital needs to address and remedy this issue quickly and effectively.

This review is solely based on today's visit. Went for a MRI scan this morning at 11:30 20/02/2020 not sure of guys name but they made me feel calm and relaxed and for the first time I was able to get through it without panic. Big thank you

A lady who I supported was brought in and in her final weeks was cared for by the fantastic team at Ward 16. Cannot thank you all enough for your kindness, dedication and for being as supportive with her support workers too

I was in Ward 3 suffering with kidney impairment after an inability to empty my bladder properly led to high pressure chronic urine retention, I was pretty poorly when I was admitted. After 2 weeks of high quality care and monitoring by a dedicated, empathetic and cheerful staff I am nearly back to normal, at home, enjoying my food again having recovered my appetite and ability to taste. I enjoyed every meal in the hospital and I cannot speak highly enough of the care and attention I received. 7th September 2022. Return to the Urology dept. to undergo TURPS procedure. My visit, operation and subsequent one night stay all lived up to my  previous positive experience earlier this year. The professional high standards of surgery and care most evident and much appreciated.

I'm a real fan of our NHS and despair at the amount of dispiriting, dangerous and disgusting pressured working conditions many staff are currently enduring. However, I've just received a letter from the Freeman Hospital which was "Typed on 20th October", but has taken until the 19th November to reach me. No matter the workload, I can't understand how, having done the time consuming work, it can possibly take a month just to post a letter? There's something very, very wrong when this is allowed to happen.
