Turned up for a viewing today and after waiting outside in the rain for a few minutes we decided to ring the door bell of the flat we were viewing. The current tenants had no idea about the viewing and stated the place was in a mess as they're in the process of moving out, understandably. I called the agency as they were 5 minutes late and when I mentioned this fact to Jo, the agent or owner as we later found out, and she said she'd check with her colleague and get back to me, then hung up. After a few minutes she arrived at the property. She spoke with the current tenants and informed them that they'd sent an email about this viewing. They confirmed they didn't receive an email. When we said that we would rearrange as we didn't want to impose, the tenants said that we could come in and reiterated that the flat is a bit of a mess. We didn't feel comfortable with this so declined. When I mentioned to Jo that this had been an inconvenience for us and asked why this appointment wasn't confirmed with the tenant, she explained 'we sent an email.' I stated that an email request isn't conformation.. To which she threw her hands up in the air huffing and called us both hostile. I told her she's very rude for someone trying to sell a house, to which she corrected us that she wasn't 'selling' the house - thanks. We're shocked and appalled by the lack of professionalism from this agency and would prefer not the pay nearly £400 fees to people who clearly lack organisational and interpersonal skills. To an outsider it seemed neither the tenant or agency had any idea about a viewing booked less than 24 hours before. It seemed even turning up to the address was effort for them and Jo implied that we hadn't travelled far enough for this to be an inconvenience to us. I can certainly think of better things to do on our Saturday morning off work! Safe to say, we wont be rebooking a viewing for this property or any others..

AWFUL RUDE USELESS PEOPLE. Mould, rats, broken windows galore. Utterly unwilling to every do their damned job. Had to get the environmental health agency involved. These money grabbers will bleed you of every penny they can. For your finances and health, go to literally anyone else.

Booked an appointment to view a property, and after driving 90 mins to get there (early) I watched her leave the house with some other people who had just viewed it, get straight in her car and leave. After waiting 10 minutes for my appointment and her not coming back, she wasn't answering her mobile so I rang the office and she told me that I wasn't there (she forgot what time I was supposed to be there, and didn't realise I was sat waiting outside in my car) and that the previous people had taken the house so it didnt matter! Don't expect she would have called to let me know if I hadn't rang. Really unprofessional service...

We had the great misfortune of having to deal with Emma from Franklin Cole, who is one of the rudest women either of us have ever encountered in our lives. She cannot do her job properly and will blame you for her mistakes, even when several people have witnessed what she has done wrong (both tenants and potential clients). She sent people to the house at the wrong times and they showed up saying they had an appointment, though we were not informed. She claimed this to be 'impossible', yet somehow these people had the correct address. Magic? When Emma finally did show up to the house, she pushed her way in rolling her eyes at us when confronted with HER mistakes, being incredibly condescending the entire time. Zero interpersonal skills and behaved as though raised by wolves. My husband overheard her trying to cover her tracks when speaking to the people viewing the property so she was obviously embarrassed but unwilling to apologise, instead pointing blame at everyone else and sticking to her story that it simply could not have happened despite the fact that it did. In fact, she was so incredibly rude that we threw her out of the house and are now in the process of contacting the professional boards Franklin Cole belongs to to file official complaints as Emma did things that violated our rights and are against professional standards they are required to adhere to. I've never been treated so poorly in a professional capacity in my life. All I can say is: if you are considering using this agency's services, run away now while you still have time and work with an agency who is actually professional and efficient because this woman clearly couldn't even handle basic tasks (i.e. customer service, informing clients of correct scheduling, basic respectful communication in-person). It's clear that this woman wears her sales face when she smells commission but otherwise has no regard for the people at all. Horrible.

Not a very good Experience; they are so bad at their job they got me to sign the wrong documents for a year and then claim its void even though they signed it as well. I go to try explain myself and they go ballistic on me. An agency should be fair, professional and trustworthy; traits they lack very much unortunately
