Not a bad place BUT! While they do a gluten free menu it is only the same menu minus the gluten. Eg. The Gluten free Burger has no replacement bun, so if you gluten free it expensive and you risk either paying throw the nosie or going hungry. Although the ricotta is filling if not very bland. I no long go there.

Food overpriced...early on a Friday evening waited 40 mins from being seated before anyone offered us a drink or took orders.
No vegetables available. Also why give children chicken on sharp wooden skewers and potatoes in 'egg cups'? Just put the dinner on the plate! Not interested in gimmicks.
The seats were ripped open and foam spilling out I therefore sat on my coat.Staff said they'd complained about this to management but nothing done.
A shame because food is quite nice but massively overpriced.

American style diner with good selection of food and decent speed service. I prefer TGIs but we dont have one in banbury so F&Bs is a good alternative.

Efficient serving and food arrived fast and hot, at times staff can come across stressed but only at busy times.

We were greeted on arrival with the news that we would have to wait an hour for our food. Good in terms of expectation management but, given that the place was not full, poor use of resources.
When the food did come one dish was undercooked. The initial estimate was that this would take a further hour to rectify but in the event it took 20 mins; too long for what amounted to reheating. No offer of compensation was made.
The quality was passable but portion sizes were small and prices relatively high. This was our first and will be our last visit to a Frankie & Benny's.
