Amazing bookstore! Over 6 floors with a great array of genres. It is very well organized. It also has an extensive selection of non-fiction books. Beautiful design and very bright. It also has a very nice cafe in the top floor for lunch and reading or sitting with your laptop to do some work.
Absolutely brilliant bookstore over 7 floors, really nicely laid out and easy guide on walls to where different sections are. Large selection of books including a large section of foreign books, which are hard to come by elsewhere as well as a very large dedicated manga section - Japanese Language ones found by the Japanese books in the language section. Will be coming to this store a lot more often now that I know this. The store is very bright and also has a cafe that I heard is very good
Amazing bookstore! Literally it’s book heaven here. Subsequently their prices are often astronomical as well. I mostly stayed in the Foreign Language section and I was blown away by how many languages they offer. Not just learning materials either but actual novels in German, French, Arabic, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Russian, Greek, Welsh, Japanese, Chinese, Korean etc. If you’re a book lover you must visit this place!
Definitely one of my favourite book shops in London. There are seven floors covering all of the different categories of books that any avid reader could desire. There is an extensive general fiction section as well as specific sections for horror, sci-fi, crime, historical fiction and more. There is also an extensive selection of non-fiction books. This is a great store that any book lover could easily spend an afternoon exploring.
Foyles is such a lovely bookstore to get lost in. There's so many floors 6 i think? with some easy to follow organization, you could really spend the entire day here. There's also a TON of signed copies of books, especially new ones! When I visited there were gorgeous window displays of Sally Rooney's and Otesha Moshfig's new books. The hardback classics selection was also amazing!
Nice book store. It has a lot of options but it somehow seems unorganized. It’s a beautiful store but just somehow seemed counter intuitive. I think if you are looking for popular book they probably have them. If you are a bibliophile there are better options in London.
Foyles is a fantastic book store! We went to two of them while in London. The first was in the South Bank and the second was on Charing Cross. One of the staffed at the South Bank locations helped me find out that the second had the book I was looking for. We were able to walk from one to the other which allowed us to also do some more sightseeing in the city! The Charing Cross location is close to Chinatown so we and we were able to grab lunch after spending time in the bookstore! I’m also into anime and manga and they have a large selection in an awesome space in the store. The Charing Cross location has such a beautiful layout with multiple floors! I’m sure you’ll find whatever you’re looking for there!
Such a beautiful book shop! It's paradise for book lovers! I enjoyed sitting on the first floor and reading for a bit. The cafe is also lovely. Would definitely go again!
I love a good bookshop and this one is amazing. It has around 5 levels, with thousands of different genres and types. You could easily spend hours in the store browsing all the books. The shop even has a cafe on the top floor, with reasonably priced coffees.
Foyles was a pleasure to visit while in London. Covering 7 floors the bookshop is clean and inviting. It is well stocked and versatile in its catalogue of books, it's likely that you will find something of interest not found in other high street retailers. I didn't use the café while I was there but it seemed well accommodating with a variety of seats. The only reason it wasn't given 5 stars was the quality of the toilets which were in need of some tlc.
