Love the location Family friendly Good drinks menu Good parking Good atmosphere Horrible vegetarian food on three different occasions Good food selection on the menu but not great on the table. Don't try anything fried, not cooked well inside but very oily. See onion bhaji pictures for example Service on the slow side Toilets are not clean
Went for a weekday breakfast. I had the sundae. Was really nice. Bacon sandwich was lovely too. Served by Rosie who was very helpful and easy to talk to
Staff were lovely and friendly, which is always nice. Beautiful pub. Food was good, as are all the hungry horse. Toilets could’ve been a lot cleaner as they stank and the bins were overflowing.
Food was not great. Pretty bland and dry. The one thing that was great was the dessert. The toffee pudding is a must. The service was also okay.
On Easter Sunday our family 14 went for lunch. The food was superb and came out together, piping hot and plenty of it,and the beef was so so tender. The staff were superb even though it was very busy, and we're very polite. I highly recommend four seasons and give it 10 out of 10. Thankyou to all the staff from table 44 xx
Met friends we hadn't seen in a while here. Booked a table for 9 at 8pm. We were told that the kitchen closed at half 8 so hurry up and order. Got to our table, was filthy and there was food all over the floor. Food came up and it was all terrible. Had a shareable plate to start and a mixed grill. Everything was the worst version I've ever had of that thing. Of the entire group, none of us even remotely enjoyed the food. The bar staff were great, but something is wrong in that kitchen, I suspect it's understaffed. The blokes that came from the kitchen at close looked shattered.
I would give 3.5 stars if it was an option. I like this pub. It is good for a cheap and cheerful midweek evening meal with the wife and children. Unfortunately, I have asked for Chicken & Ribs on five different occasions and they have been out of stock each time. There has been occasions where they have run out of rice so I have had to opt for chips. Positively, it meets up to the expectations of a Hungry Horse. I would not take my wife here on a date night but the kids love it. *Update* Finally, chicken and ribs are in stock. They were very good. 4 stars.
It was alright but wasn't pleased with my half chicken sizzler. Barely any meat and overcooked, so very dry. Pigs in blankets for starter were really nice though and that was a more than adequate portion size.
Went in Four Seasons yesterday afternoon around 4. First time for a long time. Very friendly service at bar to order drinks & food. Table very clean and the Tuesday deal was great value with 2 meals for £16 including a tender Rump Steak , served by a really genuine chap with a beard thank you. It was quiet, as most places are this time of year on a Tuesday but atmosphere was fine. Ticked all boxes for what we wanted and the value involved. Will be back.
Very large place inside & very clean. Lots of accessable parking & many outside tables & chairs. Unfortunately I stopped by for a pint of real ale with 2 taps showing Abbot & 3 I.P.A. but the bar person saying they didn't have any of both ales!? They did have a smooth I.P.A.?I was told, & that's precisely what I enjoyed.
