Had a fabulous lunch here today to celebrate Chinese New year. It was all good the but the whole steamed seabass was exceptional. It was cooked to perfection. Moist and juicy and full of flavour!Food: 5/5
Hands down, the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. Left most of the food as it was so disgusting. Had to ask for fresh cucumber for the crispy duck because what I was served was slimy and floppy. All the food came within 5 minutes of ordering which clearly meant it wasn't fresh as we weren't the only ones eating. They must just keep the food warm, buffet style in the kitchen. The beef and ginger was grey meat in a sauce covered in MSG and the egg fried rice was offensive. My first and last time in this awful place. Not one Chinese person there which says a lot. Smoked crispy chicken was covered in sugar??!! Just so bad. I cannot recommend anything in this place. Avoid.
We had a lovely group dinner at four regions. The staff were nice and efficient. The food came in good time. All the food was of a good quality. The spicy dishes actually have a kick, and they have a lovely chilli oil on request. My Lychee martini was decent, if not earth shattering. It’s a great local restaurant if you don’t want to trek to China town!
We come here lots with our family and love it every time. My family mostly eats vegetarian and four regions has lots of options, especially if you like mock meat. The food here is divine and is definitely worth a visit. Literally my favourite restaurant ever. Id recommend the chow mein noodles and the aubergine to everyone and the dry chilli mock chicken, ginger and spring onion mock chicken and the crispy mock duck especially to vegetarians who enjoy mock meat that doesn’t taste like it is trying too hard
Nice atmosphere, but could use some aircon or ceiling fans to help cooling. Service was all good. Food was lovely, with my only gripe being that the egg fried rice and vegetable fried rice on the menu are mislabelled as fried rice, as what was served was actually steamed rice with fried egg or vegetables added.Food: 4/5
Quality does not match the price. Food was substandard and bland. Everything coated in a thick batter with hardly any sauce. Price is extremely high. £70 worth of food and not even free prawn crackers. It’s a shame that a restaurant that I would once recommend, has fallen to such low standards. No taste - Save your money.
I don't usually leave reviews but felt I must for this one. I don't know if the delivery driver was uber eats or their own driver couldn't track him so assume it was there own. After pressing the wrong door a couple times our neighbour let us know he basically got angry when I told him he was pressing the wrong button. The food: Shu mei: very good Spring rolls: too expensive nothing great Beef in black bean: wow, this may be the worst I've ever had. Dry, no flavour.. Just made me sad. Go to your local Chinese takeaway and your will 100% get a better version Chicken chow mein: I honestly don't think you could do it worse if you tried. How is this served? Rice: not too bad tbf but still on the low side. Overall: foods a rip off and quality of cooking I think the ingredients were okay not good.
The food is amazing, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is perfect, honestly couldn't ask for any better and I highly recommend the soft shell crab and lychee crush mocktail.Food: 5/5
