Shabby without the chic. Fountain house update. Day 7 - Towels haven't been replaced for three days, tea tray nibbles have not been replaced since day one, TV remote has decided to stop working. I could go on. So I shall. Random infestation of huge flies in the bathroom for no apparent reason. Help arrives in the form of one of the staff and a can of Raid. This continues to be a problem - 3 days and counting now.

Mid price room it was as you would expect the WiFi was ok and the host was a jolly chap and gave me instructions to the train station. Spot on with his directions. Breakfast was the norm juice cereals toast coffee or tea. The full English was disappointing for me as there was no bacon on the plate.the rest of the breakfast was ok. I left my car there after I checked out as I had to go to central London during the day and then picked it back up later.

We stayed one night with kids.... nice clean hotel with comfy beds ... its like old house accommodation with lots of nice small garden areas with beautiful summer flowers, location suited us a lot. The staff was very friendly and Breakfast was very good, loved the perfectly made poached eggs, they offer free parking too. recommended for people who want to stay in the budget hotel.

Hotel... more like a hovel. Pretty sure the 5 star reviews are family of the owners. Didn't even eat the breakfast, caught a sight of the kitchen and was never going to eat there. Coridoor leading to our room had a picture of Elvis... I couldn't wait to leave the building. DO NOT STAY HERE!
