We came for Sunday lunch and had the roast sharing board which came with beef, lamb shoulder wellington and loin of pork with crackling as well as all the sides. Unfortunately the beef was very dry and overcooked and the potatoes weren't crispy and were cold. I did like the pork and the cauliflower cheese and creamed leeks were excellent. The food came out quickly but the service wasn't overly attentive and at times, they seemed uninterested.
By far the best Sunday lunch we’ve ever had at a restaurant! The sharing board is so good and made for a really lovely birthday treat! We have also brought home a dessert sharing board boxed up as we were stuffed after the meal but desperately wanted to try the desserts!
What an amazing restaurant, always busy for a reason, food and service at the top. Freshly homemade food beautifully presented and an outstanding customer service.nAbsolutely recommend it. We’ll be back for sure.
Me and my friend booked on a Sunday afternoon via their website, in hope to try their Sunday roast. It did not disappoint!!nWe ordered a rum & ginger beer would recommend and a Sunday roast between two which was 20pp. The Yorkshire Puds were very impressive and the whole roast was served on a platter with side plates. It was beautifully present and the service was on point.nWe both really enjoyed our visit and would recommend to anyone visiting Malton. We are already talking about our next visit to try something else of their menu
