It was amazing. Great views, I had the best time I definitely recommend for anyday if it isn't to cold for you
One of the best operators for getting you an amazing landscape views of the three famous bridges in Edinburgh. The boat has enough place for people to sit either inside or outside. Refreshments are also available on paid basis. The commentary is in English and gives a nice background. Also if you are lucky then you may see seals on the trip too. Highly recommended experience.
Had an absolutely lovely '3 bridges' cruise with these guys. Friendly & warm reception. Nice boat with facilities & hot drinks. Great story telling along the way. Well worth the time & money.
We wanted to have a day trip somewhere different. We are so glad we picked this trip, The boat is well equipped and buggy friendly, the crew has a vast amount of knowledge about the journey. We stopped off at inchlome and visited the Abbey we had glorious weather and we even got to see puffins. I would definitely recommend this to everyone 5*
We choose 3 bridges cruise, is more like cruise around the wee prison/monastery island and then 3 bridges for 15 min, although let's be honest not much to see under these 3 bridges. Loved to trip, choose nice weather for it as in bad weather might not see much. Food and drink available on board.
Had a wonderful boat ride so great that I forgot to get the Cream Tea. Will be definitely coming back to Edinburgh and having more boat tours. Absolutely wonderful.Reservation recommendedYes

Great trip ! Staff were very pleasant and the whole trip was very informative. Lots of fantastic photo opportunities and the views are amazing. Needs to be a little better signposted and clearer directions . Lots of history and facts broadcast throughout the trip . Definitely worth a visit . Ninety minutes trip make sure you take a coverup as it can turn nippy .
We had a very up-and-down experience with Forth Boat Tours. We had to wait a really long time, and then were told the boat trip was cancelled due to fog not the company’s fault, of course, and safety always comes first, but that we could stick around for an extra 1hr 15m for the next one in case there was a chance conditions improved. I do wish there was more communication and transparency from the staff about what was going on, as we spent a total of probably about 2 hours just sitting around. A lot of us who did wait for the next boat ride would certainly have appreciated if they’d have let us on to the boat immediately when it docked so we could sit down, instead of just awkwardly standing or squatting by the wall for ages. One thing that really surprised me was just how many people there were. It looked like people were packed on to the boat, and just watching people get off took an insanely long time. For context, we are told to arrive at 3pm, but the boat doesn’t depart until 3.45. Some of that time goes to cleaning, which is appreciated although the toilets were really quite despicable so I don’t know if anyone cleans those…, but the numbers were slightly alarming. When I went on the ride later on after more than half of my cohort had chosen not to wait for the next departure, the numbers were much more pleasant. Overall though, I’m glad we did wait because I did enjoy the boat trip and will probably come back in the future to visit Inchcolm Island, which unfortunately I wasn’t able to go to this time round. I’d say the live commentary was okay, not the best. It was a bit difficult to hear, so improving the audio quality would be great. It also felt a little higgledy-piggledy, switching from one story to another without much structure. Some of the stories were a nice addition to the experience though. The views and sights were also very beautiful.
