Story

Located beneath the world-famous Forth Rail Bridge, Deep Sea World is Scotland’s national aquarium.

Over 40 displays, including the 4.5-million-litre Underwater Safari with its walkthrough tunnel, are home to hundreds of fascinating creatures, ranging from seals and seahorses to stingrays and giant sand tiger sharks.

Daily talks and feeding demonstrations.

Lots to see and keep children engaged for an hour or so. The long tunnel is great and allows you to get up close and personal with the sharks and other creatures, including divers if you time it right for feeding time. The restaurant is nice but a little pricey, and the gift shop is full of cuddly toys if you like that sort of thing. A great day out.

Both I and the kid loved it. Child got in free cause they are under 3 which is great but for families on a tight budget. Some of the staff need extra training in terms of being engaging when sharing facts about the animals but one of the men there was fantastic. He was informative and funny. Excellent facility over all.

A nice aquarium in Scotland. The aquarium has a restaurant which looks very cozy. Not a very big aquarium for the price of the ticket. The under sea tunnel was pretty. Lots of information about the Sea world can be obtained. I recommend this Aquarium to anyone. Thanks :)

This would have got 5 stars but does need a little upgrade. The exhibits are brilliant and animals and sea life seem well looked after. Cafe a bit basic but still a great day out with things happening all day, feeding times etc. Go

Great sea world venue. The large tank that you travel under through the tunnel was great, with sharks swimming past you There were other things to see to, like the bearded lizard feeding. The seals were great, two lovely young males, but the pen they spend d their life on was far too small. The adjacent pen at least could be combined 😣
