A charming, traditional, Scottish country house hotel, set in a lovely elevated position above the falls on Forss Water. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and well appointed with a real homely feel. The evening meal was superb, with every course beautifully prepared and presented. The bar is cosy and exceedingly well stocked with single malts, however the local Caithness gin is the real gem. The hospitality was superb, with the staff wonderfully friendly and helpful.

Hotel is easy to find and rooms in the the chalets and the hotel are warm and comfortable. Food is excellent and all of the staff are super friendly

Nice quiet hotel a few miles outside Thurso. Really handy place to stay for Dounreay.
