Had some tires changed on 20/2/24 at this branch in Harlow and the overall experience was spot on. I arrived early for my booked appt and was greeted by a polite and professional member of staff. He explained that my car was next so I just sat in the waiting room rather than coming back for it. Tires were changed and alignment carried out without any drama. It did take long but then I was expecting it so no problem. Other than my car, everyone seemed to be busy working on cars however answered all my questions without any issues. I would definitely use them next time. Thank you all.
I had very horrible experience with Harlow centre. I gave them my car for full service and MOT to save some time and money. My mot was due in may end week. They just failed my MOT without calling me and told me over the phone the bill will be a couple of thousand pounds to pass the MOT and i so shocked i was middle of the work and moved straight to their garage. They are doing malware practice and abusing the system to take money from the customers. What is the funniest part, they didn't actually list the real problem because they didn't check properly, their full focus was to take money out of me with the name of DVSA & MOT. They were asking me to change parts which were not damaged my headlights and saying it is damaged because i show willingness to change my lights early morning. The garage manager david provoke to the another person dont fix the thing which i asked. They are directly and indirectly putting me pressure and asking to make a deal so i will read to pay. They are indirectly threatening so i can agree to fix and ready to pay. I doubt they did my full service because when i reached they told service is done but i saw coolent was not topup so then how can the service done. I am just taking legal opinion to understand my rights about this matter and want to go with legal route for this harassment and discrimination yes, but don't want to explain here. I can't write everything here but big no to use this centre because they want MOT fail and put in the system to give you extra pressure for unnecessary things which works fine. They way they explain/talk you will understand tone of the voice they want you to robe by pressuring you, they will put all jargon in their dictionary like DVSA, insurance, safety, danger etc etc. thank god i got advice from friend and able to get out of that centre. I will not go to that centre again in my dreams too due to centre head. I wish someone will take any action on him. I will try to reach company management for this issue so my this action may save people in future. They were so arrogant and fearless because they are abusing the system day and night. I am going to find a way to file a complaint against them in DVSA for malware practice in MOT, I collected evidence to report it.
One part of the MOT testing equipment required repairing so my MOT was moved to Sunday. The manager was very apologetic for the inconvenience and was very friendly and helpful when i arrived on Sunday.
Had a hose replaced on mini, difficult to get too, team knew exactly quickest way to replace it. Saying that it's not really a while you wait service, they very much expect you to drop off and collect later.
DONT GO THERE COMPLETE RIP OFF.. you have been warned.. my girlfriend broke down and got towed there nearest garage she needed a new exhaust. They charged her nearly £500. when she went for her Mot at out usual place found that it was the wrong exhaust.Fitted badly, the bracket wasn't on properly and had to replace it again for the O2 sensor to work…
From start to finish professional job at cracking price. Kept up-to date on costs and helped find best cost effective tires for my needs and budget. Cannot recommend highly enough
Helpful and friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Star taken for waiting time. Too often you have to wait for someone to pick up the phone or came to the counter.
The spring on my Ford Focus snapped 2 days before xmas. I frantically searched around for someone to fix it as I needed it for work. 2 garage turned me away but F1 accepted the job and my car was fixed the following day. They were also very understanding when I turned up with my piggy bank and 2 cards to scrape together the money to pay for it as I was all spent out for xmas. Thank you guys!
Regular garage that I visit for any car maintenance issues, tyre changing, light changing, mot etc. Knowledgeable staff and honest mechanics, something that's hard to come by now a days.
Car went in for a service and some brake repairs. Happy with how they kept me informed throughout and offered work to be done before carrying out the work. Have read some very bad reviews but I found the staff polite, the work was completed within a morning and to a high standard. Price wasn't the cheapest around but I'm happy with the service I received today.
