Story

Recommended in the Michelin Guide, Fontana is a favourite in the neighbourhood. Always serving the best of fresh local ingredients in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, Fontana is that perfect place for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch.

Colleen Bennett has been serving delicious food in Fontana for over 14 years. Following her time training with Michelin Starred chef Paul Rankin, Colleen decided to open in Holywood to explore her own culinary ideas. Fontana has built up a great reputation for the quality of the food and the service, the warmth of the welcome and the enjoyment of the fine wine selection.

Bennetts is the sister cafe on the Belmont Road, serving great bistro food at cafe value.

After a long time of not going to Fontana I have recently returned. Wish I had’nt left it so long. The team are exceptional, no request too much, and no pressure selling as is common in many establishments of this kind. Where to start with the food. Flavours of Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Steak, lamb, turbot. cooked to perfection. Wine list, one of the best we have seen for some time. This past month I have had lunch and dinner here, both of which represented good value. Our waitress also told us they’re now open on Saturday for lunch. We will be back. Keep up the great work Fontana. You are rivalling some of the best restaurants we have been fortunate to experience around the world. We wish you every success.

Very cosy and comfortable chilled out restaurant. Menu with options for all tastes. Thoroughly enjoyed the lunch menu. Food is delicious and excellent service. They also do a very well priced supper menu alongside the alacarte. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy excellent flavours popping off in your mouth.

Situated on Holywoods High Street a casual upmarket restraunt that does lunch and evening menues. These dont run into mind boggling options. What you get is fine dining with a good selection of wines etc. Non intrusive, friendly staff.
