Disappointed by the number of crudely redacted items on the menu. Dining as a group of six in a near empty restaurant, we were very unhappy with the time service took; to provide menus, to order and serve drinks, to order and serve food. The food served was judged widely by the group to be far hotter then anyone would have expected for each dish ordered. Once the bill had been provided after multiple requests, we were unhappy with the seemingly high cost and I requested to speak with the manager / owner to discuss the bill, considering the time all elements of service took, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. Once aware, the owner immediately locked the front door, locking our party inside the restaurant against our will. At no point had we threatened to not pay, but I had requested a reasonable discussion regarding the bill. This experience, followed by the tirade of abuse thrown at me by the owner and another member of staff, leaves me to consider this the single worst dining experience of my life. I strongly advise against dining at Flavour Max, Basingstoke.

New name, same painfully slow service I’m afraid. The food, when finally arrived, was pretty bland and uninspiring. The manager came twice to explain about the 1+ hour long wait - the restaurant wasn’t even full (there was one large party) so to be honest there was little excuse. Don’t waste your time here - there’s two other Indian restaurants further along the same street that might be worth a try. There’s also an excellent Thai restaurant.

Food was lovely and amazing and and good service. I totally recommend this to families at holiday.

Quantity matters...Increase of food quantity is much needed..and 2bowls of chutney costed 8£ in the bill..dont know on what basis they charged this much of amount..

Only one person was serving the whole restaurant. Very slow service and food was not delicious
