Home call visits are available by appointment and charged at £40 per hour with a minimum charge of £40. Please call 0114 230 4553 or 07963 501826 to book an appointment. Evening appointments are available

Bought a ASUS TuF gaming laptop from a friend, never really thought about having it checked until a fan makes a really loud noise. After Diagnostic with Mr. Gosh, it turned out that the thermal compounds have been overheating for a long time and I’m glad to not leave this too long as otherwise it would’ve been costly. Mr. GOSH have also been very informative with his choice of repair and that I listened very carefully and went with all of his options so that I get the best service possible for my laptop. I am very happy with the outcome the laptop runs better than new - I can now use it better than it was and now knowing that there is no internal problems at all has been a true happiness. The service was also very quick it was done in less than a week - I’m very happy with Mr. Gosh service and I really recommend him if you ever have any problem at all. What an absolutely lovely guy Gosh the owner is - he really went above and beyond in rescuing my poor battered 7 year old laptop that I thought was completely dead. Gosh replaced the hard drive with an SSD, gave it a good service and reinstalled windows and it now runs better than it did when it was brand new! Absolutely fantastic, well-priced and very speedy service, and Gosh kept in touch at all stages to let me know exactly what he was doing and why. He also gave me some good tips on looking after the laptop. Would highly recommend Byte IT to anyone needing their computer looked at - whether it's a cheap old laptop or a high spec gaming machine, Gosh really knows his stuff. A pleasure!
Fantastic service from first contact right through to pickup and beyond! My 5 year old desktop PC suddenly stopped displaying to screen. After a couple of failed contacts with other local companies I Contacted Gosh and he got back to me straight away and quickly gave me an appointment for initial diagnosis the next morning. The process was very smooth and Gosh kept me really well informed of his progress via WhatsApp with plenty of pictures and explanations of my options and was always prompt and thorough in answering any questions I had and all at a very fair price. Gosh obviously works really hard judging by the amount of customers he has and really did go above and beyond to ensure everything was right and is a really nice guy to boot. The location of the store is very obvious, and parking can also be done around it. When my computer broke down, I didn't know what to do to quickly fix it. You know, I couldn't learn, work, or access the internet, which was very boring. It wasn't until I saw this store on the map that I quickly contacted the boss through the appointment on the map. The boss was very interesting, and he quickly found the problem with my computer. In just one afternoon, he fixed my computer! I am very happy. If you have any problems with your computer, please come here! This is a very good choice!
Would definitely recommend, my motherboard was in very bad shape screw holes + connectors damaged and he’s managed to fix it in the time span of less than 24 hours as well as stress test my PC and download windows onto it too. If you have a custom PC I would definitely recommend going to him if you’re having any issues
Mr Gosh is a tech wizard! I took my custom build I tried a hand at unsuccessfully and he repaired and completed the installation. Wonderful customer service and excellent work!
Gosh did amazing work very quickly to resolve my overheating problem. He was in touch throughout to explain what he was doing in a way I could understand and he taught me a few things I needed to know about taking care of my PC in the future. You don't just get excellent tech support, but a friendly and welcoming manner as well. Thanks Gosh!
Built my first PC last June and it restarted randomly since the first day. After extensive research, testing and replacing many components I could not come to a solution. Finally at the beginning of January it blew the motherboard. Having replaced that and thinking it was the end of it I left it before it started crashing again. Defeated I took it Byte IT computing at a complete loss. Gosh responded quickly and arranged an appointment for the next day. Within only a couple of days he’d done detailed diagnostics and sent me all the information I needed in extremely clear and useful WhatsApp messages. The professor that was faulty has caused damage to the graphics card and motherboard. However with his guidance I sent it back and got a full refund/replacement under warranty for the GPU/CPU. He also optimised my PC recommending parts for my PC which he installed for free. Overall Gosh is an extremely skilled and hard working technician who provides a very detailed diagnostic and I’d highly recommend to anyone in search of a skilled technician for all forms of IT repairs.
Gosh just fixed my laptop not charging and explained everthing clearly and positively and, like other reviewers have highlighted, he sent photos of the issues and repairs made so I have now seen inside my machine for the first time. It was such a nice change to find someone with a positive and enthusiastic passion for his work and not like other computer engineers from my previous experience who approached work with comments that started with maybes, buts, best to buy a new one, what did YOU do to it?, etc. etc. If I have any future problems I would not have a second thought about contacting and trusting Gosh to get it fixed. Highly recommended.
Could not be happier! Honestly a live saviour, found Gosh through the web and never had an issue with a laptop before so did not know how to approach everything. I wrote him through the web page and he answered really promptly, I got a same day appointment and went to see him. I explained the issue and he looked at it and immediately found the issue. He did not just only fix it but also explained to me a bit the reason behind which I really appreciate. The issue was the hard ware, so it needed replacing but he did it all and I was able to pick up my "brand new" laptop the next day. Honestly, great service, if you are looking for someone who knows what they are doing, Gosh is your guy!
