Excellent pub, quite atmospheric inside. If eating, check out the Specials board on the wall as some excellent fish dish choices. Bit of a nautical theme throughout so would be a good choice for International Talk Like a Pirate Day next year. All set up for anti-covid measures. Attentive staff. Pint of Fosters £4.20

We visited by chance and were given a very warm welcome. The food which we chose was hot, well presented, tasty and great value for money.  The staff were lovely. We were so impressed that we have booked a table for tomorrow.

just when you think pub food couldn't get any better the fisherman's rest comes along...truly the food menu is worthy of  the drive to this pub....we had the pork scratchings with Apple sauce to nibble on before our mains and these little beauties were amazing all taste no heart burn after!!!!please give this pub a visit!

Good food at the right price.  Last week's Moules were a delight. We can walk, but parking is easy.  Good specials board. We will be back.

Lovely place to eat. We went there as a family of six and ordered various different dishes. They were all exceptional. Starters and mains were delicious. And for the desert we would definitely recommend the brownie.

Lovely little pub, cosy. The staff can't do enough to help especially in these troubling times, the food is great and big portion sizes. You will not be disappointed .

An enjoyable meal of baby ribs ! in pleasant surroundings.  Tender and tasty.  The only drawback was the large portion size.....maybe smaller portions should be a new norm?  So wasteful to have to leave food uneaten.

Have been here a few times now and the food is delicious. Always been very consistent and have never had a bad meal. Friendly staff too. Can't wait to come back. Have missed this place during lockdown.

Really nice dinner for an adult and 2 kids.  Only criticism is Covid-wise, the tables should be further apart. Some customers were sat rather close.
