Brilliant spot for a Caribbean meal. The food is delicious, everything we had was so good . The staff are all so friendly and welcoming . Food arrived nice and quick, full of flavour. I'd recommend the Jerk chicken, Great portion size and the sauce is amazing. The jerk chicken comes with rice & peas, coleslaw and pineapple mango chutney . You won't leave hungry! The prawns are also really good . The restaurant is cozy and intimate but it added to the atmosphere . Lots of tables outside . Perfect for summer. Can't wait to go back .
The jerk chicken was incredible, the best I’ve had! I loved the mango chutney on the side, it really elevated the dish. I also had the homemade ginger beer with rum which was fab - the ginger beer wasn’t too sweet, and they were generous with the rum. Service was great, there was lively music in the background and everyone was super friendly & welcoming. I will definitely be back!
Friendly service from one of the male waiters, and the lady chef inside had a warm, welcoming smile which was notable and instantly created an inviting atmosphere. This was my first time trying Jamaican food and it was great! The jerk chicken was so tasty, as were the fried cod puff things and the fried plantains. I just know I'm going to crave it when I return overseas. Let's hope I can find something similar in Australia not likely! Was suggested this place by an Aussie who lives in London who I met in Paris and it did not disappoint. My only suggestion would be they should reply emails, but that's it! I hope to return some day.
My friend and I were out late and wanted something nice to eat. We discovered this place. The 3 gentlemen that were there were very receiving and nice even though it was a bit late. We both had the falling off the bone jerk chicken, rice and peas, side of fried plantain, gravy and the Ginger rum punch. I can just say that it went down well and we wanted more. Definitely visiting again soon when I’m in London.
love the yellow green hot sauce it was really fun a lovely high i lost the hearing in my right ear for ten seconds from the spice it was so fun. prawns were so tasty and the rice is great
Top notch jerk chicken. Tamarind bbq sauce is the stuff of dreams. Nice rice n peas, good slaw and nice mango. Highly recommend. Washed down with a rum and ginger beer, the ginger packs a punch! Visited late last year.
Absolutely delicious Caribbean food. Everything is packed with flavor. Highly recommend the BBQ jerk chicken with tamarind sauce and the cod fish frittersRecommended dishesCod Fish Fritters, Jerk Chicken
Carribean food for white people - idk?! The plantain was not ripe , the portions for vegetarians were very small and the chickpea curry had no flavour. Roti was dry but edible. The prices aren’t exactly cheap. The tables for 2 are very small and cramped. Staff all were friendly so I don’t like to give a bad review but was honestly very disappointed. Try Eat of Eden opposite or Zionly Mama the BEST in Peckham or Limin Beach bessst trini food club in south bank.
