The owner is Rude, called up with a complaint that one of their drivers was rude to my child on a school transport contract and all he could do was lie, said he didn't know anything about it? LIE. Said no one had spoken to him about it, LIE! The driver had shouted at the children to SHUT THEIR MOUTHS!!! This was a bus full of 4-10 year olds.. how unprofessional and extremely scary for the children. AVOID FIRST STOP AND GETAWAY AS THEY ARE THE SAME COMPANY!

Booked a taxi over 3 hours in advance and then when it was over 10 mins late I was told that they had booked it for wrong time. They said they’d have one with me in 5 minutes, when that taxi was late I rang again to find out the taxi would be a further 10 minutes. Never booking with getaway cars / first travel again

Used them as they were the only ones who weren't booked on a Sunday evening and I should have walked. Our driver who's name I believe was Promise, couldn't find our house after calling us 3 times. He then proceeded to blame me for giving wrong directions when he had the address correct the entire time. He complained the entire ride about that, as well as being blatantly rude. As my husband was at the atm getting cash for him, he pretends to look at his phone and says "can he hurry up, I just got a job to go to Heathrow.". 1. Learn to speak to customers who are PAYING YOU 2. LEARN YOUR AREA. He had google maps up and refused to use my ip address, to navigate. He just used side roads from his own knowledge which got him driving aimlessly for 20 mins. USE A1 CARS!
