Ok but not impressed. We using wheelchair service and we have reoccurring order for years now and they are always late. I'm not talking about 'traffic ' kind of late. If you have booking for specific hour anything above 15 mins is not good. Found out that all that delay is because bookings that comes before us are not spaced out evenly and it causes even more delay for us too . Issues has been brought up and never solved. It's shame because taxi drivers themselves are such a lovely people and always helpful.
Taxi service the best and pricing unbeatable yet. Good value for money and cars that don't rattle. Definitely one to book again next time I am in Bury
Honestly surprised the rating is so low - booked with ease whilst on a hen party in BSE. Text service updates were sent to confirm our booking and the live location of our taxi being sent. Everything ran smoothly and on time; shout out to Dwayne and Russell for a friendly drive! I'm not from the area, but would highly recommend based on our reasonably priced return journey experience.
Booked a taxi over 3 hours in advance and then when it was over 10 mins late I was told that they had booked it for wrong time. They said they’d have one with me in 5 minutes, when that taxi was late I rang again to find out the taxi would be a further 10 minutes. Never booking with getaway cars / first travel again
I had no response for a quote for a wedding car advertised on their website. When I followed this up the response came back as "We no longer operate rolls Royce", no apology for the delay or a thank you for enquiring or an alternative car. They really need to work on their customer care. I've only given one star because it is obligatory.
It was unacceptable. I’d go as far as disgusting . We booked two taxis for half midnight , they rang us 10 minutes before the pick up to say they would do a shuttle run. Half of our group got into town 45 minutes after the rest . When I spoke to the manager she was horrendously rude and told me “there was nothing she can do” and refused us a discount . She threatened to cancel the driver to go back to get the rest of our friends . Unacceptable and beyond unreasonable. Disgusting
We were told a price when booking the taxi but when we were picked up the price had gone up and we were told it's time and a half after 11.30pm. This was not told to us at the time of booking and we were quoted a price which should have been honoured. We had no choice but to pay as we needed a taxi home. I was told I would be called to discuss this but no-one has. Do not use this taxi company.
Used them as they were the only ones who weren't booked on a Sunday evening and I should have walked. Our driver who's name I believe was Promise, couldn't find our house after calling us 3 times. He then proceeded to blame me for giving wrong directions when he had the address correct the entire time. He complained the entire ride about that, as well as being blatantly rude. As my husband was at the atm getting cash for him, he pretends to look at his phone and says "can he hurry up, I just got a job to go to Heathrow.". 1. Learn to speak to customers who are PAYING YOU 2. LEARN YOUR AREA. He had google maps up and refused to use my ip address, to navigate. He just used side roads from his own knowledge which got him driving aimlessly for 20 mins. USE A1 CARS!
Called and easily booked, received a text saying it had been dispatched, it was there waiting when I arrived, the driver was polite/helped us get in. I thought it was well priced.
