Really lovely staff and atmosphere but really disappointed by the complete lack of vegan options and very few vegetarian dishes. Came here a few times to find they hadn’t accommodated for vegans or even vegetarians and most of the dishes contain butter/fish or meat. Would be a 5 star review if they served atleast one vegan hot meal a day as that’s what you’d expect from a Cosey wholesome restaurant with an emphasis on health/home cooked goodness.
As a regular customer I could not recommend Finns more highly. The best coronation chicken, delicious home made quiches and fabulous newly introduced sandwiches in home made focaccia bread ...I could go on. Add to this their original and well priced gifts, wonderful coffee and the friendliest staff - including Charlie who served me this morning- Julia has created a very special place at the heart of Chelsea Green.
I popped into Finns last week, somewhere I've been wanting to check out for quite some time now. I was amazed at the large selection of yummy food on display and after having been recommended the focaccia sandwich by the lovely lady working there I decided to try one. It was absolutely delicious and I will definetly be returning for a coffee and piece of cake soon!
Finns is an absolute MUST visit! The staff are so lovely and helpful - I found some beautiful napkins and enjoyed a delicious lunch. They have a fabulous selection of seasonal, high-quality produce. It’s the perfect place to enjoy lunch or takeaway one of their many heat-at home dishes the fish pie is my fav.Food: 5/5
Food is alright some days but not every day… also inconsistent with being able to provide a proper receipt that is not just a credit card slip! Each time I come in here I can’t get a proper printed receipt. You are operating a business in Chelsea where plenty of people are actually needing proper receipts. Email is NOT convenient and each different staff member tells you a different story’s one day the machine isn’t printing, the next they’ve run out of paper, the next they’ve gone paperless. Come on!
Finns has always been a favourite. As soon as I land in London I head straight there. Everyone who works at Finns couldn't be more welcoming and personable. But the real reason for me to go to Finns is the delicious food. Wow. Even my 12 year old son is totally hooked. In fact and no joke...hence why I wanted to write this of all days...he said....I really want some Finns Coronation Chicken!! Sadly we live in Ibiza but somehow I'll smuggle some back in my suitcase the next time I'm over ...and probably some of their of the scales tasty trout pate. Kid-friendliness: My son always wants food from Finn's when we're in England. Coronation Chicken all the way.
It’s the first place my daughter wants to visit when she comes to stay with me from abroad.celeriac remoulade.. coronation chicken fill my fridge & other goodies. Staff helpful and treat each customer in a polite way. Long may they be my local ‘go to’ Rocky G
Good food and wonderful staff however too expensive in my opinion. £49 for just a cup of latte, a fish pie and 2 packs of pasta noodles with some parmesan inside. In all honesty I was shocked at the price. 3 stars because of good food, but I think the prices might need a revision ‍
20+ quid for a soft drink, a quiche smaller than the palm of my hand and a pre prepared salad, eaten off plastic plates with cardboard cutlery. Laughable, I had to scrape my jaw off the floor when I paid. This place needs a serious shake up and a dress down!
I don't often write bad reviews, but had an incredibly disappointing experience here and would implore others to go elsewhere despite the nice setting. I was told a takeaway salad box would be £9 I asked as the prices were not on display and subsequently ordered 2 to sit outside on a bench as there were no tables free. When I got to the till I was charged £31. I left, too embarrassed to say anything and there were others behind me in the queue. After finishing my very small salad, I went back in to enquire about the cost, to which I was told I was charged to eat in despite ordering to take away, and that because I chose one of the chicken salads that was charged by weight which made up the extra. I probably had 3 small pieces of chicken on one salad, the other salad was completely veggie. I get that its Chelsea and the prices are high, but there's no excuses for disingenuous behaviour, I was lied to about the pricing and the quality was only ok. Avoid, there are plenty of other lovely places around.
