Loved it. This is a very simple Japanese café that offers a good variety of main dishes and desserts. Matcha teas are amazingly good and the service is very friendly but not invasive. They accept only card payments relevant info for tourists. Prices in my opinion are alright.
Pretty basic Japanese cafe. The food was good but could be improved. The service was very friendly. I didn’t get a chance to try the dessert but they look amazing. This is easy to get to. Check This place out for yourself.
Cafe is beautiful, I only bought take away iced Houjicha with milk. Delicious and not sweet but small size ,I paid £4.90. I will eat next time as the food and cakes looked good.
A lovely café restaurant, small but with beautiful deco but also means limited seats The food was tasty but overpriced. Considering the location, it’s understandable Takoyaki surprised me a bit as it comes with a vinegar flavour sauce Love the desserts, the chestnut cake is really chestnut very special It’s recommended if you’re around the area
Staffs are SUPER SUPER nice, food and drink were delicious, I can choose to add less sugar for the drink which is nice because I like less sweet beverage. The dessert are nice too because they weren't too sweet, it would be perfect for me if the dessert has a richer matcha flavour. I'll definitely go to this cafe again if come to London again in the future!
I’ve been here loads of times. The food is brilliant, yet very simple. The interior is very minimalistic. Their matcha is one of the best in London. I highly recommend trying the marble cheesecake and the takoyaki. Thank you
Super cute japanese cafe with an even cuter addition of hello kitty themed desserts. That's not to say their savory menu isn't as good because the katsu curry was delicious! They even had vegan desert options, would defo come back again
Very popular Japanese restaurant - had to queue outside and wait for about 20 mins. Spicy tuna maki was good. Kitsune Udon hit the spot! Beef gyu don was okay. Half and half matcha and hojicha Tokio sundae was delicious!! Overall enjoyed the experience!
When we arrived at this restaurant, they refused us to get a seat without everyone here, even though our friend is only 10 minutes away and they have plenty room. We have ordered 1 takoyaki as starter, somehow it is placed as vegan takoyaki? We only discovered after we get the bill. Inside there is only les and some spring onions, other than that, purely batter. Disappointed. For main we had 1 gyu don, 1 tan tan udon, 1 poke. The gyu don is surprisingly spicy. The other two are okay, very average. The icecream Sundae with a mix of matcha and hojicha soft icecream. The icecream itself taste good, but the mochi is store bought and taste horrible. The red bean paste is very hard. The drinks are iced matcha and hojicha latte, they were good, has a fresh aroma, yet the hojicha is definitely more powdery. Overall, not a good dining experience due to unpleasant food. The environment and the service are fine. Will not visit again.
Always queue outside~ we were lucky to have a table within 10 mins. We’re planned to sit outside but way too cold. Hot dishes were over priced and not good. I would give only 1 start. However the dessert was a surprised! 5 stars!!! Had the chestnut one and it was amazing, my son had the sundae the green tea ice cream were the best I’ve had~ sweetness just right and not overly bitter, very comfortable to eat. Will go again for desserts only x
